Features:

This is a top quality fuel made in U.S.A not a cheap blend!

This is one of the most popular blends. It is comprised of a specific ratio of Byron Degummed Castor Oil and Byron Fortified Synthetics. The Synthetic/Castor Blends give modelers the best of both worlds; the clean, corrosion resistant protection of a proprietary synthetic lubricant, plus insurance against lean runs that castor provides.

We will confidently place the lubricating qualities of our synthetic up against any competitions’ castor oils. The additional of a small percentage of castor compliments the quality of this superior blend.

Includes:

One Us Gallon (3.78 Litters approx.) of fuel in high quality plastic container with secure lid.

Comments:

This Fuel is good for all glow engines in general except for car engines and high performance engines as well as engines that have special requirements stated by manufacturer.

Due to different timing used by car  and high performance engines, using low nitro content fuels will require a very lean mixture and cause these engines to overheat.

For best performance and due to the low nitro content of this fuel, it is recommended to install a hotter glow plug rather that a colder one to your engine

IMPORTANT NOTE ON F.A.I. FUEL

If you’re accustomed to running fuel with nitromethane and this is your first experience with no nitro fuel, please take the following into consideration

F.A.I. will run warmer… DO NOT RUN TOO LEAN! Nitromethane provides a cooling effect during combustion. Since F.A.I fuel has no nitro, it will run warmer. This is nothing to be alarmed about. It will simply require some different adjustments on the needle valves.

  1. LET ENGINE WARM UP AT LEAST 3 MINUTES PRIOR TO MAKING ANY FINAL NEEDLE ADJUSTMENTS.
  2. ONCE ENGINE IS WARMED UP, PEAK OUT THE HIGH SIDE NEEDLE VALVE AND THEN RICHEN IT UP FOR A 50-100 RPM DROP.
  3. BRING THE ENGINE DOWN TO IDLE AND MAKE NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS ON THE LOW SIDE NEEDLE VALVE.
  4. ONCE HIGH AND LOW SIDE NEEDLE VALVE ADJUSTMENTS ARE MADE, MAKE A FINAL CHECK ON NOT ONLY FULL THROTTLE AND IDLE BUT CHECK FOR A SOLID MIDRANGE AS WELL.

While some distributors and manufacturers are warning modelers about low oil contents in some fuels, please rest assured that Byron Originals proprietary lubricants provide both HIGHER FLASH POINTS AND GREATER LOAD CARRYING CAPACITIES than any of our competitors lubrication packages, making our  F.A.I. lubrication content of 18% much more effective in lean run protection than other lubrication contents of equal or higher percentages.
