Byron always announces the percentage of oil in its fuels as this is an expensive component of the mix. For example Byron 5% and 10% fuels sold in Egypt contain 18% lubricant (oil).
Generally Byron Fuel expensive oils are a blend that contains 40% castor oil. Castor oil is the only safety net that will save you engine if it accidentally runs lean and/or overheats.
Castor oil will not disintegrate in extreme temperatures like synthetic oils. Castor oil also acts as a buffer to prevent the nitro methane from forming strong acids when engines are stored for long.
Synthetic oil is still used in Byron Fuels is to increase performance or else pure castor oils would have been the best. Please check you engine manufacturer recommendations for minimum oil content and castor oil requirements.
HOBBY25 will also offer Cool Power Fuels manufactured by Morgan Fuels as an alternative to Byron.
Since the creation of HOBBY25, our main goal was to have fully satisfied customers. Models purchased from HOBBY25 are fully supported with replacement parts. Please ask for an immediate special replacement parts order if your model is not usable without it. It is your right as a HOBBY25 ESTEEMED CUSTOMER!
